Only 193 Model 1851 Sporting rifles were made, and only 24 in this caliber with a round barrel. In very fine or better overall condition. Mechanically excellent. Bore is about mint; barrel has areas of very light pin prick pitting. Markings readable. Wood is excellent, with normal toe repair. Brass mountings are fine. Colt rear sight substituted during period of use. A low production Sharps, not often available on the collector's market. Well cared for. $5950
