As issued to the British Regular Cavalry (they carried their carbines in a leather scabbard, and therefore no saddle ring was required). Carbine is excellent overall, with excellent bore. Metal is smooth, with sharp markings. Finish has turned brown. Wood is excellent, except for tiny chip out of toe. Crisp Enfield cartouche on stock.
