In excellent-plus overall condition. Bore is about mint. Smooth metal retains 85% or more original bright blue; the balance has flaked off. Markings crisp; grips are mint. Pistol shows almost no actual use and is as tight as new. Original casing is excellent overall, showing some inside rubbings from pistol. Pistol manufactured late 1865. A very attractive cased set.
