In excellent-plus condition and appears unfired. Bore is smooth and bright; inside of pan is mint. Metal is smooth and a light brown color, mixed with original arsenal bright. Markings are sharp. Lockplate shows 75% original bright finish, with exceptionally crisp markings. Wood is about excellent, with only normal, light storage bruises, and one moderate ding on forearm. Brass is unpolished and unmarred, including buttplate Jaw screw may not be original; lacks sling swivels. Used in the Napoleonic Wars and in the War of 1812. A superior example. SOLD
