In excellent overall condition. Only 1,000 of these were made in 1849, with an extremely low survival rate. 100% original; fully inspected. Blade is excellent-plus, with sharp markings. Wooden handle is excellent, with one small arsenal repair. Scabbard is excellent, with small area of surface loss. Brass is excellent and unpolished. Original frog is excellent. This is only the second -- and best -- example of this knife, and the only frog, I have offered in the last 40 years. Top of the line. SOLD
