Confederate Cook & Brothers Two-Band Rifle in Fantastic Condition.

Manufactured in Athens, GA, and dated 1864. Rifle is in excellent-plus overall condition, with fine bore. Smooth, light brown patina on barrel. Brass es excellent an unpolished; wood excellent. Markings sharp. This rifle has never before been on the marked, as I purchased it from the family whose ancestor brought it back from the war. Appears unfired; ramrod is blacksmith-made period replacement, otherwise as issued. Serial # 66XX. Call for more thorough description. SOLD
