.72 caliber; 39 1/2" barrel. Original flint. Four ramrod pipes. Circa 1785-1790. Overall excellent. Metal is smooth, with clear proofs. Lock marked "Warranted" and bears an elephant and castle. Wood is excellent and sound, with brass marking plate at wrist. Completely untouched. Lacks one buttplate screw and forward sling swivel. A colorful weapon from the days of Empire, in far above average condition. SOLD
