In very fine overall condition, with all matching numbers (wedge is un-numbered but is original Colt). Pistol is sub-inspected on small parts, but only the trace of a cartouche is just visible on grip. Manufactured in 1862. Serial number is in the range issued to the 1st Connecticut Volunteer Cavalry (644XX). Metal is light grey with traces of blue in protected areas. Traces of case on frame. Cylinder retains 80% or more sharp cylinder scene. Grips have been sanded but still very fine. Brass is excellent and unpolished. A pistol wtih a bit of history. $3250
