(#89XX). Manufactured in 1861 and cut for stock. Pistol has been cleaned but is in fine condition. Bore is very fine; metal is generally smooth, with some minor pitting near muzzle. Small parts sub-inspected. Markings sharp; all matching numbers, including wedge. Cylinder retains 70% battle scene. Pins intact. Brass is excellent, as are the grips. A very early martial Colt. $3500
