In excellent overall condition. Rifle retains 95% original blue on barrel and rod bayonet action; receiver turned to silver. Lockplate and hammer retain 50% original blue. Bore is excellent. Stock is excellent and retains an excellent firing proof and 1881 dated inspector's cartouche. Only 1,001 of these rifles were made; survival rate in this condition is very low, making it one of the scarcer of the infantry Trapdoor rifles. $4200
