Manufactured by I. N. Johnson and dated 1854. Pistol is in overall very fine condition. Bore is very fine; smooth, well marked metal retains a dull steel color. Stock is very fine and retains two visible cartouches. Brass is uncleaned and retains a great patina. Mechanically excellent. Used during the Mexican War and issued in large numbers during the first year of the Civil War. $1395
