Dated 1842. In excellent-plus condition. Bore is bright and mint; smooth, well marked metal is a dull steel color. Lockplate retains approsimately 40% case. Wood is near mint, with two super cartouches. These pistols saw heavy use by cavalry and dragoons during the Mexican War. $3750
