In excellent condition. This is a Canton issued weapon, and so marked. Comes complete with issue cadet bayonet. Bore is excellent; smooth, well marked metal retains 65% or more original brown finish on its 26" barrel. Wood is very fine; lockplate retains 95% or its black case. Brass is excellent, with a nice, mellow patina. This is a model 1842 in miniature, as its total length is only 38". Bayonet has a 10" blade and is only 12" overall. Bore approximately .54 caliber. $1950
