1816. First Model Civil War Lindner Cavalry Carbine.

In excellent-plus overall condition. Bore is excellent-plus; metal is smooth and bright. Markings sharp. Wood is excellent-plus, with great inspector's cartouche on heel of butt. The inspector's initials GKJ (G. K. Jacobs) also located opposite lock. Small, non critical crack forward of lockplate. Only 892 of these rare carbines were delivered, with 400 issued to the 1st Michigan Cavalry. Rarely offered. $6850
