One of only 800 manufactured in 1858 for testing. Sword is in excellent, untouched condition; grips retains 100% leather and 95% original wire. Brass is excellent and uncleaned. Pommel cap inspected. Blade retains a bright steel color, with excellent markings. Scabbard is un-dinged and retains an overall smooth brown color. Untouched. Purchased at a Pennsylvania house sale. $1950
