Manufactured at Manila Arsenal in 1808 and so marked. Large royal cipher on breech section of barrel. Barrel in 6 stages, with flared muzzle, marked 24. Period wood naval carriage, with brass tires. Bored and vented; made to fire. Length of barrel: 26 3/4"; weight of barrel, 45 1/2 lbs; breech width, 4: muzzle width, 3"; bore, 1". Length of carriage, 15 1/4", weight of carriage 9 lb; height of carriage, 10.5". Condition is excellent; never cleaned or polished. An easy to handle, 200-year-old arsenal cannon. Rare. $7500
