The first cartridge rifle made in quantity (3007 manufactured) made at Springfield. Rifle is in excellent condition overall. Bore is excellent; metal is an even, dull steel color, with no rust. Action is mechanically excellent; rifle has matching numbers, as it was not converted to .50/70CF. Unconverted Joslyn rifles are scarce. Wood is excellent, with barely visible inspector's cartouche. All markings deep and clear. Complete, as issued. $2650
