Complete with its original cardboard box. Pistol is about mint, retaining 99% of its original bright factory blue. Frame retains 98% of its original bright. Bright case colors. Bore is mint; grips are about mint. Box is about excellent, complete with wood ammo block containing 5 rounds of original .44 RF short. Patented Feb 11, 1864 and a few undoubtedly were carried during the Civil War. Pasteboard box, pictured on P. 69 of Vol 2 of The Deringer in America (1993) by Eberhart and Wilson. Manufactured by Connecticut Arms Manufacturing Co. Almost never found in original pasteboard shipping box. Very attractive. $3950
