23 1/2" barrel; bore is excellent. Smooth, well marked metal retains 25-30% original blue. Action and hammer retain 80-90% original blue and black case. Wood is excellent; regimentally marked on heel of buttplate (BS 1014). Tang marked Tueresia Zeilinger. Carbine dated 1863. Lockplate retains 30% fading case colors. Mechanically excellent.
