Antique Gun 2743. Prussian Chassepot Conversion of Model 1873 To Cavalry Carbine.
In excellent overall condition. All numbers match; bore is like new. Calibre 10.14 x 60 Mauser. German markings sharp; well marked metal has turned an overall brown color. Wood very fine, with a few scratches. Regimental markings on buttplate IMG52 (Light Munitions Column#52). A scarce conversion; very few imported. Reasonable at $2495
