Circa 1808-1810. Made for export, these pistols were used by Army officers, fur traders, and Indians. Pistol is in overall very fine or better condition. Mechanically excellent, pistol is uncleaned and un-messed-with. Barrel, 9 1/4" long, is a nice, dark brass color. Wood is very fine. Well marked lock. Lacks only ramrod. A very colorful pistol of the type widely used in the first quarter of the 19th century. As a little extra, the name John Fuller is period engraved on the sideplate (worthy of research). Reasonably priced at $1295
