Antique Gun 2122. British Made Underhammer Boarding Pistol.

With detachable Bowie knife. .50 caliber; smooth bore. Overall length is 18 1/2" with 10" long blade and 6 1/2" barrel. Made without sights, as the knife blade was the main weapon. Marked on barrel "Bentley-Perks Liverpool." Pistol retains 70% original brown finish. Mechanically excellent; wood is fine. Circa 1840-50. For the well-dressed merchant captain. Impressive. $2550
