Manufactured by A. Waters and dated 1839. In excellent overall condition. Smooth, well marked metal retains a medium steel color. Wood excellent, with sliver of wood loss at rear of lockplate. Retains two excellent inspectors cartouches. Stock was carefully cleaned some time in years past. Used by the dragoons and cavalry during the War With Mexico in 1846-68. Reasonably priced at $2495
